Paul Tibbets - who flew the Enola Gay and dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. He was training men to fly it - and they hated its dangerous reputation. So Col. Tibbets thought if 2 WASP could fly it - the men would follow them and perform. The person giving the tour remarked as toher knowledge of the aircraft she state dthat she had flown  B29&#039;s as a ferry pilot during the war,really impressed me .REecently retired cop I now work in a branch of the ocean co library system.
