It reeks of the vitriol of some unsuccessful author. That being said, I saw the exhibition and was distressed by the curatorial choices as well. This article addresses those concerns in a professional and constructively critical way that is so hard to find in art exhibition 'reviews' these days. Thanks Alix for such a good read. Did CD try to tell you that you spell your name wrong as well?

Always funny to me that people have time to comment on an ‘alternate spelling’ as if it is at all relevant to the content quality of a written piece. Unless you're emphasizing the arrested nature of Burton's work, this 2nd grade spelling isn't necessary.

“Num-chucks”? To learn more about the project go to the CSUF website.

Since you are apparently a CA publication or site, you might want to know that the robot boy metal sculpture to which you refer in your review of the Tim Burton MOMA exhibit was painstakingly constructed from scratch by two grad art students from CA State University at Fullerton.
