		<description>Although Mr. Reid identifies the two problems with the American health care as 1. being fragmented, and 2. for profit insurance, to both of which I agree, he fails to identify the pivotal force, and the true culprits, namely the doctors themselves!

Per American Medical Association, there are 1 million doctors in the US. Some make $150k/yr while others in excess of $900k, averaging $500k, per Mr. Reid.

A basic math should reveal that out of our $2 trillion health care costs, $500 billion, i.e. half a trillion, goes to doctors alone!

If we cut that in half, say a nice $250k/yr, still comfortably above American standard and average income, we can nicely cut the health care costs by what, $250billion, an easy 12.5%

ArnoldCare was after only 5% operation reduction!

As long as we treat these business people, our so called doctors, like gods, nothing will change in our health care - The doctors, pivotal, are also unfortunately the real culprits ...
