Red St.James, I know we all try to stand by our actions but hear me. If the UN invaded North America in retaliation for the affairs of Iraq and Afghanistan I among many others would take to the streets. It’s not that I think war and violence is a solution but I refuse to stand by while my countrymen get killed and imprisoned by a foreign group. This is why I can’t blame the people of Iraq that the media portrays as haters of freedom, or people that supported Saddam. I don’t support Bush but I would defend against a occupation. So to reply in short, I don’t care who the aggressor was/is, I wish the troops the best but we all know war is not black and white.

I have seen war. War is hell. And in the beginning there was a reason for fighting. Now i see none. But i believe people should support us as we fight. Or we are destined to lose a battle we are capable of winning. If we give up, we will be discrasing the soldiers who have died for this country. We will be puting dirt in the blood spilt by the brave souls. I pray we dont. Femper Fidelis!

War, as allways, and forever, is a nasty, ghastly game for big men, all about getting themselves big chunks of the earth( and whatever lies beneath: oil, diamonds, gold, gas, uranium). That is the reason why pictures of these wars, even those before Capa’s famous shot (in the head) are nasty and ghastly too. Alas for all the victims during the ever lasting game, pictures returning from the warzones have a somewhat pervers attraction on spectators.

Allmost like c-pornography does…well, just try to get a literary struggle against the rampaging battles on their little bodies seldom highlighted. I did, but the publishers adage here is: “don’t show, don’t tell”. Therefore this is to be the English title of my book.
