Really enjoyed your review of Empire of the stars  - much my own reaction though I  would  give it 2 1/2 to 3 because there were so many mistakes!! It&#039;s good to read something that isn&#039;t fawning. I am reviewing this and Marcus Chowns latest book which is wildly speculative and not particularly well written I think, but I note that the reviews are adulatory which was just as I feared.
