i was a prisoner at the sanatorium in 1956-57. i was 12 years old. the haunted place could not be as bad as the actual palce was. it was awful

In reference to your story of Anderson’s Corner, I am certain your story has provided Jamie Welch, Florence McClure and Jean Taylor with their proper due, as they undoubtedly laid the ground work of the story you have included.I am the great grand daughter of William Anderson, and have met several who have reported occurences after Hawk smudged the place. The building is in deplorable condition. It is a crying shame the current owners have done nothing to preserve it. Several of us have approached them, and we have all been denied an opportunity to step in and do what needs to be done. Now many of us are not in a financial place to offer our help. I plan to purchase your book, two infact, for my children. If ever their was a question about the ongoings at Anderson’s Corner, it was undeniably answered here.

Mollie, they will not thave a haunted house any more, People stole money many years ago so they do not want to mess with it any more. They were going to try to reopen it this year but becuase of the H1N1 swine flu outbreak they will not endanger the people living in the hospital up there.

I have camped at Tunnel Hill numerous times over the years.I am a Civil War reenactor and I have had many encounters with the spirits there.

I live in Booneville and one of my friends has been inside the Nitburg building she has a sound recording of a child laughing underneath the sound of her voice, but it was just her and another friend, no child.

I live in Booneville Arkansas. Yes the tuberculosis sanitorium is known to be haunted. They put on a spook house every year up there for halloween.
