What i hate is the ridiculous content of his novels and his sterotypical, "cliche" characters......The very americanized vision of Spain and its people. The difference is that when Ernest Hemingway died, there was no real loss, another drunk killed himself. There will always be other writer to replace his cheesy writing style. Andrew Vachss makes this world a better place.And his novels are loved because they touch on reality. Some people can not handle reality, it reminds them they are doing nothing. Good writers are a dime a dozen, there is only ONE Andrew Vachss and very few people like him in the world.
